VERMILION SAILOR ATHLETICS

As part of a well-rounded education, Vermilion Local Schools provides coeducational athletic programs for grades 7-12. Vermilion Sailor athletic programs stress the importance of Coachability, Positive Attitude, Respect and Dedication. So when our students play football – or volleyball, or basketball – or run cross-country, their sport may be different, but their goal is the same.

Vermilion High School is a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA), the Northwest District and the Sandusky Bay Conference (SBC).

From the field to the court to the green, Vermilion Local Schools offers students a wide variety of arenas to excel in athletics. For more information, visit www.ohsaa.org.

VISION & VALUES

The vision of Vermilion Local Schools is: Every adult helping every child succeed today, tomorrow and beyond! In Sailor Athletics, we get to use the vehicle of interscholastic athletics to help develop the lifelong values that will lead our children towards success. Our Core Values are: Coachability, Attitude, Respect and Dedication (C.A.R.D.). We believe that these values, when developed, will carry each individual throughout their lifetime. This will result in those participating in Vermilion Athletics to someday become great husbands, wives, parents, employees and members of their communities.
