The Northwest District Wrestling Tournament started well and ended even better…early Thursday afternoon we were notified that our Sectional Alternate, Joey Brass who placed 5th at the 126 lb. weight class was going to be taking the place of a scratched wrestler on the bracket…raising our total number of district qualifiers to 6!  Our lower

The varsity wrestling team traveled to Monroeville this past weekend to compete in a dual team tournament.  On the weekend the team won 3 of their 5 duals, dropping matches to Crestview and Dalton…the scores sometimes a bit deceiving because of how many points were surrendered due to forfeits (18 pts. in the Dalton dual). 

Varsity Wrestling Finishes 4th at Clear Fork Invitational…

The Sailors hosted their first ever “Opening Weekend Duals” last Saturday, December 5th.  The event, spawn out of necessity went extremely well!  The teams in attendance were a good mix, coming from east, west, and south of Vermilion.  They included Bay, Cardinal, (Marengo) Highland, Normandy, and Port Clinton.  On the day our young men went
