SBC Track Championships Day 1

The Lady Sailors track team had a great first day of competition at the SBC Championship meet. Day one finals finished with Theresa Albrethsen and the girls 4x800m relay team scoring and  finishing 8th and Macy Urig finishing 7th in the long jump. The big highlight of the finals performance was by senior Caitlyn Schnur


Girls Results: The Lady Sailors Track team competed in a Tri-meet against Danbury and Oak Harbor on Monday. The 4×400 team of Zimmerman, Plott, Strama and Digidio placed second and the 4×200 team of  Teresea Bletch, Danielle Saegert, Analese Beltch, and Tabath Fenton also placed second. Track and Field Main Street Beach Clean Up

The Vermilion Sailor Track & Field team completed their annual community service project this past Saturday. Braving the cold weather and rain the team went out to Main St. Beach to remove wood, trash, and debris from the beech. The team also pulled weeds to make the area around the beach look nice and clean.

SMS Track Continues To Grow in Margaretta/Western Reserve Tri

The Lady Sailors Middle School track team placed second in a tri-meet against Margaretta and Western Reserve yesterday. Ten of the Sailors scored points for the team. Reilly Messer placed fourth in 100 hurdles and third in 200 hurdles. Marianna Plas placed first in the 100, first in the 400 and second in the 200.

Sailorway Middle Competes in Margaretta Relays

Vermilion High School junior track athlete CeCe Dillon was tabbed the Chronicle’s Player of the Week for her performances at Clyde and the Edison Invitational last week.
