Six More Sailor Seniors Sign to Compete in College!

Six more senior student-athletes at Vermilion High School signed letters of intent to compete at the collegiate level on Friday.  This makes fifteen Sailors officially committed to take their academic and athletic talents to the next level.  Today’s signees included: Torie Piskur – Bowling – Thomas More College Caleb McCullough – Soccer – Ashland University

Dave Domonkos Wins Lifetime Service Award!

Vermilion High School’s head boys track and field coach and co-defensive coordinator Dave Domonkos has been awarded the Mac Morrison Lifetime Service Award.  The Mac Morrison is awarded by the Northwest District Athletic Board to “recognize individuals who have made noticeable contributions (in the area of athletics) to the young people within the Northwest District.”

Bath, Boyd and Pfeil all named 1st team all-SBC!

The Sandusky Bay Conference coaches voted on 1st team, 2nd team and honorable mention all conference honors this past Sunday evening.  Vermilion took home some great honors in our second year in the league.  Senior Tyler Bath, who is a state qualifying wrestler, earned 1st team defensive line in the Bay Division.  Trevor Boyd, also
