The Sailors traveled to Western Reserve Saturday evening for a non-conference game and won 43 -31. Leading the Sailors in scoring was Marianna Plas with 23 points. Senior Camryn Colahan had 12 points for the Sailors. Also scoring for the Sailors were Audrey Peterson with 5 points, Molly Plas with 2 points and Morgan Potts with one point. Ellie Blakenship led Western Reserve with 10 ;points. Peterson had one three for Vermilion and Woodrum and Barnhart each had a three for Western Reserve. Vermilion is now 7-2, 4-0. Vermilion will host Norwalk St. Paul January 13th with the JV game starting at 5:30 PM.
