The Sailors took the ball and broke out to a quick 6 – 0 lead against the Falcons. Quarterback AJ Mathis took off on a spectacular run, dancing down the sidelines to put the Sailors on the board. Beau Benesh added a key block on the play to get AJ into the end zone. In the second half, the Sailors continued their dominance of the Falcon defense behind the blocking of Timothy Bucher, Mason Plas, Jacob Mayer, Collin Angney, Liam Fleming, and Curtis Turner who open huge holes and gaps for Benesh and Cohen Mooney who combined for over 100 yards rushing. Dominic DiFucci, Nick Freeman, Cayden Dodge, and Oliver Roy added key blocks on the outside for the Sailors As well. Benesh also added a touchdown on a 50 yard run to seal the deal for the Sailors. The Sailors also dominated on defense as Anders, Angney, Benesh, and Mooney all made substantial contributions to the effort. Caleb German, John Brass, Ashton Clifton and Logan Peterson helped keep the Falcon air attack grounded. Peterson and German made the big impact, picking off two of the Falcon passes; Peterson returned his 60 yards.
