Vermilion Track Athletes:
We know we are in a tough time in our world right now and we are part of history that no one has ever seen before. But it is these tough times that define us by how we react to it and how we continue to be our best selves on a daily basis even during these tough times. I hope you are all well and healthy and as everyone does I look forward to getting back to normal and seeing you compete on the track. But meanwhile we have to find ways to keep yourself in shape and prepared for the day we start back up. It is during these times that you have to push yourselves individually to be the best person and best athlete that you can be. We all know that there can be no team practice and no captains practices which makes it even tougher, but the strong will survive and be better for it. I had sent out what our day to day work-outs were going to be, so now it is up to each one of you individually to work toward your goals using this, or finding something that pushes you to be great. Not having any weight facilities is tough, but those that have weights at home I urge you to use them, if you do not then use the old fashion way of Sit-ups and Push-ups and work those cores. I found a video on line I hope motivates all of you to push yourselves during this tough time. I will post it below this message. Skip the ads and it hopefully motivates you to work hard. It is up to you now if you want to sit and wait or push each of you to be great and be prepared if and when we are able to return to normal.
