Congratulations to Sophomore Ayden Bath and Freshman Hayden Valenti on a great showing at the Indoor State Track Meet this past weekend. Ayden went in ranked 24th in the 60 meter hurdles and ran his personal best in the event with a time of 8.95 seconds to improve to 16th overall at the State Meet. Ayden competed at a high level and was able to improve and jump over 8 athletes, which is very impressive at that level of competition. Hayden came in ranked 14th in the Weight Throw and he also broke his personal best mark with a 49’ 4” throw which moved him into the 11th overall spot. These two young men show what hard work can get you. We discuss with all our athletes on getting just a little better each and every day as you work hard in practice and it will pay off for you. As for Ayden and Hayden it paid off well as both are now State Qualifiers with a very bright future ahead of the them!!
