Vermilion High School junior track athlete CeCe Dillon was tabbed the Chronicle’s Player of the Week for her performances at Clyde and the Edison Invitational last week. At the Clyde tri-meet, Dillon brought home four first place finishes in the 100m, 200m, and the high jump. Dillon also teamed up with Bri Gasdick, Caitlyn Schnur, and Carrington Partin winning the 4x100m relay.
At the Edison Invitational Dillon brought home a second place finish in the 100m and a seventh place in the high jump. The same quartet of Gasdick, Schnur, Partin, and Dillon brought home a first place finish in the 4x200m relay with a season best time by over three seconds.
